Job: Lead Materials Engineer, Air Products
Location: Trexlertown (Allentown area)
Requirements: Minimum of a BS in Materials/Metallurgical Engineering (advanced degree preferred) with a 10 - 15 years of related experience. Experience in the industrial gas, power, petrochemical or chemicals process industry required.
Description: This position is responsible for recommending materials of construction based on process conditions including fluids handled, pressure, temperature, etc. Familiarity with materials selection for oxidizer services such as high pressure oxygen is required. Must be able to conduct failure analyses to determine root causes for equipment failures and provide materials recommendations to prevent recurrence of failure. Provide materials consulting and advice to Air Products operating facilities on issues such as welding, heat treating, corrosion, materials properties (e.g., high temperature creep, low temperature toughness) and others. Need to be able to identify microstructures and failure modes for a wide variety of alloys. Successful candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills. Approximately 10% travel required.

Job: Senior Materials Engineer, Air Products

Description: This position is responsible for determining root causes of failures, leading failure analysis studies, developing appropriate repair procedures and recommending materials of construction for new and upgraded facilities. Individual must have a basic understanding of metallurgy and failure mechanisms. Previous field experience in the industrial gas, petrochemical, power, and chemical process industries preferred.

Requirements: At least 2 years metalworking, sales, and distribution experience.
Description: Account Executive position open in the Allentown area for a person with metalworking sales experience. Must have at least two years of metalworking, sales, and distribution experience.
