Our chapter is honoring Mari-Therese Burton with the Outstanding Young Member Award, and she will be giving a presentation on her graduate work at Lehigh University (bio and abstract to follow).
We are also holding a Metallographic Poster Contest for the Lehigh Undergraduate Seniors. LVASM members and guests can vote on the posters. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive a cash prize of $150, $90 and $60, respectively. At least one member of the winning team must be present at the dinner to claim the cash prize.
The dinner will cost $25 for members and guests, and $15 for retired members and students. The dinner is free for students who are members of ASM and/or Material Advantage so sign up today! If you are a student interested in becoming a member, please speak with Dr. Moyer about signing up!
